Rayfinder is often used for diamond exploration in African countries such as Angola and Somalia. This device is usually used when you know someone buried something, you don't know exactly where they buried it? But this device is an invaluable help and often leads to success very quickly. The operation of this device is roughly explained.

Rayfinder control unit is first connected to the transmission rods, then inserted into the ground and focused on the desired material / object it searches for is set.

The device now sends the relevant set frequencies to the ground. Antennas are connected to the receiving part and react only when the relevant object responds to the frequencies/waves emitted.

Why is this?
In principle it is quite easy to explain, each material has a different conductivity and is also composed of different atoms, so each material has a different frequency at which it reacts. This uses Rayfinder and is therefore very effective. Metal detectors work on a similar principle because metals can be measured according to the principle of conductivity.

Rayfinder has a decisive advantage over a Metal detector because, depending on the set frequency, all unwanted material is completely ignored is done.
