This page provides general information about warranties, withdrawal, returns, and defective goods for products purchased from MENA Detector Systems. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Order-specific information is also provided in the pre-contract information, distance sales agreement, invoice, and product warranty certificate.

Warranty Coverage

• Where Turkish law requires a warranty certificate, the warranty begins on delivery and is at least two years unless a longer statutory period applies.
• The exact period, warrantor, serial number, and scope are stated on the invoice and warranty certificate.
• Manufacturing, material, and assembly defects are assessed under the applicable warranty document and mandatory law.
• Misuse contrary to the manual, unauthorised intervention, impact, liquid exposure, unsuitable power, natural events, and ordinary wear may be reviewed separately. This does not remove statutory rights concerning defective goods.

Defective Goods

Where the conditions of Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 are met, a consumer may request rescission, a price reduction, free repair, or replacement with a conforming equivalent where possible. Repair and replacement requests remain subject to the proportionality and feasibility rules established by law.

A warranty claim and the right of withdrawal from a distance sale are different procedures. Statutory remedies for a defective product may continue after the withdrawal period, subject to the applicable limitation and warranty rules.

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

For a distance sale made to a consumer, the consumer may withdraw without giving a reason or paying a penalty within 14 days after receiving the goods. The notice must be sent before the deadline by email or another durable medium accepted by law. A telephone call alone is not sufficient for this purpose.

Exceptions

The exceptions listed in the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation apply. These may include customised goods, unsealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, immediately performed electronic services, or digital content supplied with the consumer's prior consent. Merely opening a detector box is not treated as an automatic reason to reject a return; the product, its use, and the statutory exception must be considered together.

Return Procedure

1. Send the order number, customer name, contact details, product, and request type in writing to info@menadedektor.com.tr.
2. Securely pack the main unit, coils or sensors, cables, charging equipment, manuals, warranty document, promotional items, and all supplied accessories.
3. Confirm the return address, carrier, and any return code with customer service. Return shipping is handled according to the pre-contract information and applicable law. Consumers are not charged return shipping for defective goods.
4. On receipt, serial numbers, accessories, and physical condition are recorded and the result is communicated on a durable medium.

Inspection and Diminished Value

During the withdrawal period, a consumer may inspect the product in accordance with its operation, technical characteristics, and instructions. Use beyond ordinary inspection, missing parts, or customer-caused damage is assessed under applicable law and does not automatically remove statutory remedies.

Refunds

Following a valid withdrawal notice, collected payments are refunded through a method compatible with the original payment instrument within the conditions and time limits set by law. The time taken by a bank or payment provider to post the refund may vary.

Shipping Damage

Inspect the outer package at delivery. If it is crushed, torn, wet, or opened, requesting a carrier damage report and taking photographs will speed up review. The absence of a report does not automatically remove statutory rights; report damage or missing contents promptly with the order details.

Store, Business, and International Sales

The 14-day no-reason withdrawal right applies to distance consumer contracts. In-store purchases, business or professional purchases, and international deliveries are assessed under the sales contract, applicable law, customs requirements, and local rules. Mandatory defective-goods and warranty rights remain reserved.
